Kangana's Meena Kumari Biopic Hits A Roadblock
Ego issues have surfaced between the film's producer and the Tragedy Queen's stepson
All is not well with Sunil Bohra's ambitious plan of putting (late) Meena Kumari's life on celluloid.
Meena Kumari's step son (Kamal Amrohi's son from his second wife Mehmoodie) Tajdar is up in arms with Bohra.
Buzz is, Tajdar has been very disturbed ever since he learned that Bohra is planning to make a biopic on his stepmother.
Talking to SpotboyE.com, he says, "How can Bohra think of a film on Meena Kumari? Filming Meena Kumari's life is only my right. I will never let anyone else make a film on her. Mind well, Meena Kumari was not alone. I shall protect her legacy. If the situation demands, I shall take Bohra to court."
Not so long ago, Bohra had announced with fanfare that he plans to make a Meena Kumari biopic with Kangana as the protagonist. Kangana too had happily confirmed that she was ready to get into Meena Kumari's shoes. Tigmanshu Dhulia was supposed to wield the megaphone on the cinematic version of the life of the legendary actress who died of liver cirrhosis at the age of 39.
Hasn't Bohra taken his consent, we asked? "Bohra has not even informed me," Tajdar shot back.

Is Kangana reading this?
